Character Profile; Ottavia and Seneca

Ottavia is the wife of Nero. While she is really the wronged character in the play, she does plot to murder Poppea which shows that she is not neccesarily a flawless character.

Seneca seems quite a wise character, often giving other characters good advice. He is also singled out by the gods as a virtuous character, however as the prologue stated, virtue is not always celebrated. However, although he is executed he is happy to die as it means he can join the gods.
